OUR STORY

It all started in 1939. The Van Os brothers ran a forage business, operating on a small scale from a shed in the Dutch farming village of Beschop. Business went well, but the start of the Second World War changed everything. The war years meant a hard time for business in The Netherlands and caused a big decline in trade. When The Netherlands got liberated from the German occupiers on the fifth of May 1945, the rebuilding of Dutch society started. The Van Os Brothers had to search for new ways to get their business rolling again. After diving deep into the market, they decided to buy up military clothing, radios, compasses, jerrycans, motorcycles and more leftovers of high-quality. This was the start of a new company in a very special industry. The collection consisted mainly of used military goods. All these goods were stored in the meadow behind van Os’ company and in barns. Over the years, the company grew and new techniques were introduced. The market demand for new products with their own unique design increased. That is the story of how Fosco Industries was born a unique label with a lot of enthusiasts and involved customers all over the world.
